The Liles' Go Into Outer Space
Our kids, Joe and Amy..and of course the boys... invited us to the planet of Butto on the Edge of the Galaxy and what could we say abut "YES YES YES"! We have been looking foreword to this for months!
As we fired up the Silver Ghost for the trek down Katella, and evil plot is hatched in Paul's brain...pure evil. Paul go the trusty inter-galactic text transmissions device our (disguised as an iPhone) and texted the following message to Amy & Joe.
Within seconds a trans-galaxy phone call came in with the following message "You didn't forget today did you? You are kidding, right?" I think I got Amy but Joe was not totally sure...Bad Paul!
The Blue Bayou was a surprise...Joe made reservations well ahead of time (like two weeks ago) so we marched right in! Perfect!
We have reservations? Wow!
Amy discovers Gooseberries! Yummy!
A discriminating pallet!
Chomp...Gurgle...Burp...The boys are eating!
Washing down the gooseberry
We are ready to travel!
The Star Destroyer
Did You Know? - Star Destroyers are capital ships in the fictional Star Wars universe. The Imperial-class Star Destroyer is "the signature vessel of the Imperial fleet" in numerous published works including film, television, novels, comics, and video games. Each can be deployed individually as both a forward operating base and as mobile weapon systems platform responsible for safeguarding multiple planets, trade routes and systems, and carried enough firepower to subdue an entire planetary system or annihilate a small rebel fleet.
Lots of fire power in that puppy!
The Disneyland Band was going strong
Here we go!!!
First space vehicle we spotted! We must be near "civilization"
Zot... From Frontier Land to The Galaxy's Edge in 500 feet!
The buildings are a little worse for wear but they have
been in existence for 500 years plus!
We were greeted by a smiling face
The ol' bucket of bolts... The Millennium Falcon!
Did You Know? - The Millennium Falcon is a fictional starship in the Star Wars franchise. The modified YT-1300 Corellian light freighter is primarily commanded by Corellian smuggler Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and his Wookiee first mate, Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew). Designed by the Corellian Engineering Corporation (CEC), the highly modified YT-1300 is durable and modular, and is stated as being the second-fastest vessel in the Star Wars canon.
The Millennium Falcon first appears in Star Wars (1977), and subsequently in The Star Wars Holiday Special (1978), The Empire Strikes Back (1980), Return of the Jedi (1983), Revenge of the Sith (2005), The Force Awakens (2015), The Last Jedi (2017), and Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018).
There are many items to ponder as we make our way to the Falcon!
Miss Amy is calm and cool...so far!
"Hey lookie at what we see!"
Joe has his work cut out for him!
We are about to board the Falcon!
Looks safe to us...but what do we know?

We now go single file into the pre-flight room and get our assignments
We hang out until we are called to enter the Falcon!
Down the hallway is the cocckpit of the Falcon... We are ready!
The cockpit is ready for us...are we ready for it?
Did You Know? - Park guests are seated in a 6-passenger motion simulator, themed after the Millennium Falcon. Guests go on an interactive "smuggling mission" with each guest on the attraction being assigned a different crew role. The attraction features appearances by Hondo Ohnaka, a character first seen in The Clone Wars, and Chewbacca. The story is set between the films The Last Jedi (2017) and The Rise of Skywalker (2019).
