We ran around the Chicago airport and then caught a small jet to Bangor.
The Great Lakes were beautiful!
It was a dark cabin but Mary was reading her book anyway.
We are coming to celebrate.

We Landed In Bangor Maine Drove To Bar Harbor
It was an hour drive on 1A and except for a few areas where work was underway, the road was good and the hotel was easy to find even at 11:30 pm. My GPS Unit is named "Mary" and it is quite accurate (and good looking!).
We took the back roads which were being worked on late at night.
