It's October 15th 2013 And Time To Golf In Temecula
We support the Children's Hospital of Orange Country and at the last fun raiser we bid of a Temecula golf package for four! We won the bidding and asked our friends Bunny Burns and James Cathey to join us for a day in the desert! It was a super day... In the low 80's and simply magnificent! We played "The Oaks" and "Stonehouse"... Two of the three nine-hole courses! It was a challenge but with the four of us laughing all day, we could overcome anything! Please enjoy the visual adventure...

Did You Know? - The more traditional Oaks provides golfers fun, memorable shots that will leave you thinking this was how golf was meant to be played. Oak-lined fairways are forgiving and give you great looks into these glass-like greens.

The Stonehouse course
was quite hilly
Did You Know? - The most challenging of the Temecula Creek golf courses is the Stonehouse nine, which demands precise tee shots in order to get lower scores. The dramatic changes in elevation and bends require accurate shot shaping and distance control.

Did You Know? - Two types of water hazards exist: "lateral" water hazards (marked with red stakes around the perimeter of the hazard) and water hazards (marked with yellow stakes). Lateral hazards are usually adjacent to the fairway being played (along the side), while water hazards generally cross the fairway being played forcing the player to hit over the water hazard.

Did You Know? - Woods are so called because, traditionally, they had a club head that was made from hardwood, generally persimmon, but modern clubs have heads made from metal, for example titanium, or composite materials, such as carbon fiber.
