We enjoy our wine time... Usually just after dinner we
get a few quiet moments to reflect on the day. Now that
we are retired,
we enjoy some time in the hot tub at the end of the day with a (plastic)
glass of nice wine!
Wine is an alcoholic beverage made from the
fermentation of unmodified grape juice.
The natural chemical
balance of grapes is such that they ferment without the addition of
sugars, acids, enzymes or other nutrients.
Although other fruits like
apples and berries can also be fermented, the resultant "wines" are
normally named after the fruit (for example, apple wine or elderberry
wine) and are generically known as fruit or country wine.
Sue like Chardonnay which is a green-skinned grape variety, used to make
wine. It is believed to be named after the village of Chardonnay in the
Mâconnais region of France.
Paul enjoys a Pinot Noir which is a red wine grape variety of the
species Vitis vinifera. The name may also refer to wines produced
predominantly from pinot noir grapes. The name is derived from the
french words for "pine" and "black" alluding to the varietals' tightly
clustered dark purple pine cone shaped bunches of fruit.).

Wine consumption, the darker the color the more is consumed. We are trying to help California out!
