About The Street Corner Symphony

Music is provided all over the greater Los Angeles area by the members of the Street Corner Symphony. The Street Corner Symphony Band is composed of four talented musicians brought together by the late renowned musical director, Toti Fuentes and their love for music. The musical talents of Eddie, Freddie & Resty were individually honed back in the Philippines and in USA performing separately with their respective bands and Bess, altho’ was never in a band, did back-up vocals on stage & movie soundtracks and recorded commercial jingles. Combining jazz, standards, rock n’ roll, big band sound, country music, rhythm & blues and disco, they became a favorite with the ballroom dance groups and the Elks Lodge circle. They also are contracted to provide music for private functions such as birthday parties, weddings, anniversaries, associations and corporate functions.

When the band takes control of the stage they have the unique distinction of knowing how to combine the elements to provide their clientele the kind of music they want to dance and listen to. They have created a renewed interest in the dance and easy listening music of past eras.

They were commissioned to perform at the Angela Lansbury Achievement Award and have been performing at the annual Queen’s Ball, commemorating the birthday of the Queen of England, sponsored by the British Council.
