Old Ranch Country Club - Beauty In Suberbia

Golf is a lot of walking, broken up by disappointment and bad arithmetic.

Eighteen Holes In The Midst Of California's Beauty

Every day we play (and we play almost every weekday) is a delight as the grounds are just beautiful!

Doing The Math

Front Nine Scorecard

The front nine begins with an easy 4-par and progressively provides challenges as the course plays out.  Watch out for the 500 yard 5-par hole #6 as it circles the lake and of course the #9 hole, another 5-par offers many golfers a way to wash their ball with a stream dividing the hole at just the right distance. A stone bridge provides access to the green.

Back Nine Score Card

#10 also beings fairly easy but is soon followed by several long holes and fairly narrow fairways providing many opportunities and challenges. #16 seems to go on forever and as an additional challenge, we get the ocean breeze. #17 is interesting providing hilly fairways and many sand bunkers to navigate around. #18 again offers a stream through the fairway and hitting over the water is always a challenge, twice!
