A Spooky Holiday For All
Halloween 2000
We have been performing this ritual for years but this was the first one "digitally captured" for posterity. We had some great artistic efforts here and some great roasted pumpkin seeds.
Eddie has pumpkin cleaning duty (ugh!) while Pete supervises the girls
in preparing for cutting the pumpkins into frightening shapes and faces!
This is precision work requiring great skill! Connor inspects the
final work to make sure it is OK!
Zachary and Jonathan begin the process by pinning the templates onto the
actual pumpkin and marking them carefully so cutting can begin in
earnest!
Mr. Hollywood (Jonathan) relaxes while carving this pumpkin into
something weird!
Everybody it outside while Laurie is busily creating a work of art
inside. Notice the facial expression of utter and sheer creative
concetration. Or, does she have gas???
Dave gets into the act by initially supervising and then taking an
entire pumpkin on his own!
The work is nearing completion as the completed art work begins to
accumulate on the table in preparation for transit to the front yard for
picture taking!
Meanwhile In The Kitchen Magic Is Occuring
