Tracy Wells Big Band New Years Eve in the beautiful Long Beach Marriott Grand Ballroom. Cocktails and elegant dinner service 7:30 - 9:00; band performs 9:00 - 1:00. Champagne, party favors. Special midnight program.
Avalon Ball 2008 will be held on May 17th! Please join the Art Deco Society of Los Angeles to celebrate our 25th Anniversary with a glorious night of dancing at the historic Art Deco Avalon Casino Ballroom on beautiful Catalina Island--the same ballroom that played host to Benny Goodman, Glen Miller and all the greats of the Big Band era.
- Transportation via Catalina Express - Suggest you take an early boat over (8:30am, 10:00 am, 12:15pm, 2:00pm, 4:15pm) and specifically request the 11:00 PM boat back (if you are not staying over on the island). Round trip is $59.00 for adults and less for seniors. Note: If you go early, go in casual attire and change in the ballroom provided changing areas. Have a nice dinner at the local resturants such as the Channel House.

Phoenix Club dances every Thursday evening 7:30-10:30pm. $10 cover charge and large big bands play almost everything! Jan provides dance lessons at 6:30 prior to the band starting. Large dance floor! Due to Christmas no more danicing this year but it starts again January 8th 2008.
