The year is 2000 and all is going
well. These are the first digital photos of our Christmas
activities. We were lucky to have the Chartiers' come
and join us for Christmas. All the way from Connecticut, US of A.
We enjoyed a great week of visiting and seeing the sights and sharing.
The weather was outstanding and the evening quite mild!
Diane and Pat Porter joined us for Christmas Eve and Dinner making it a special holiday season.
Prior to their arrival we did the Christmas Play and had lunch with the Rockwell Work Family and the other "old standards"
Come share with us...
This
Christmas Tree is magic. Click an ornament and listen
to music!
The day after Thanksgiving, the decorating begins and several people pitch in to convert the house to a "wonderland" of old dusty decorations. It takes about two days.
We went out to lunch with our work family,
people we have known for years and work together closely. Time to
remember the year gone by.
We did our typical visit to Rogers Gardens and The Five
Crowns to get into the mood and get the latest decorations.
We went to the Christmas Play in Claremont
at the Candlelight Dinner Theater for the thirteenth year now with more
people added every year. This year Del and Vicky, our next door
neighbors, went with us.
Disneyland on
Christmas Eve was mandatory and as usual, the weather was great ad
crowds not too bad. We took the whole gang this year.
Christmas Day is always a blessing in Southern California
and in fact we went swimming in the afternoon prior to sitting down for
dinner!.
